Product Questions
I require a pair of customised Aluminium Container Ramps, what information do The Ramp People need to prepare a quote?
We will need your load height (vertical height from the ground to where the ramp will rest), details of what you are loading and the maximum weight of the load. For items with low clearance please provide the vehicles data sheet.
How do The Ramp People's Aluminium Container Ramps stay securely in place during loading?
The ramps have a curved rest-on connection with a pre-drilled hole for securing them to the container or floor. The angled foot ensures a stable grip on the ground, while the ramp’s weight and gradient help keep it firmly in place.
I am interested in purchasing a container ramp - should I choose a pair of ramps or a single wide ramp?
This does depend on what you are loading. A pair of aluminium container ramps is a great lightweight and portable solution for loading forklifts, cars, and light machinery. If you also plan to load pallet trucks, cages, or equipment with a central wheel, a single wide ramp may be the better choice.
Why do The Ramp People’s Aluminium Container Ramps have a minimum and maximum load height?
The foot of each aluminium container ramp is precisely cut to ensure it sits securely on the ground at the specified load height range. Using the ramp outside of this recommended height—either too low or too high—can compromise how the ramp sits, reducing its stability and load capacity.
I am seeking a pair of container ramps to load machinery with very low clearance. Will these be suitable?
When loading items with very low clearance, such as scissor lift or very low cars, we would suggest contacting our team so we can check if your vehicle will be able to safely climb the ramp or whether a custom solution will be required.
