Product Highlights

Safely reduce vehicle speeds

Reduce vehicles to speeds of 10mph with the 60mm high speed ramps.

The speed bump kits are painted in a contrasting black and yellow colour design to alert road users to the upcoming speed ramps. Each 1m middle section has 8 reflective cat's eyes to enhance visibility in low light conditions.

The speed ramp kits from 1.5m upwards include end caps, providing a safe, smooth transition at the end of the speed bump. This helps reduce the risk of vehicle damage while minimising trip hazards for pedestrians and cyclists.

Designed for use in areas with commercial traffic, including industrial estates, schools, car parks, private roads, and driveways, these heavy-duty speed bumps offer a durable 60,000kg load capacity (15,000kg per tyre).

Manufactured from high-density recycled rubber, the speed ramps feature an internal steel plate for reinforced durability, while the rubber construction helps prevent excessive noise as vehicles travel over the ramps.

Product Questions
What fixings do The Ramp People provide with the speed bump kits?
All of our speed bumps are provided with fixings for tarmac and concrete and a SDS Drill Bit drill bit. The fixing is an M10 x 120mm. The SDS drill bit has a diameter of 14mm and 150mm drill length, total length 276mm.
Can The Ramp People's speed bumps be installed on block paving?
The fixings provided are designed for tarmac and concrete only. We recommend installing speed bumps on these surfaces, rather than block paving, to ensure the speed ramps remain securely in place.
Is permission required prior to installing speed bumps?
It is important to gain permission from the landowner prior to installing speed bumps. Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 also requires you to notify emergency services and those who may be affected by the road ramp.
Does The Ramp People sell speed bump parts, such as end caps or fixings, separately?
Yes, end caps, middle sections and fixings can be purchased separately. Please contact our team with your specific requirements and we will provide a quote based on your needs.
The heavy duty speed bumps come in 0.5m sections. Do The Ramp People sell alternative sizes, such as 3m or 4m kits?
The central section of the speed bump is 1m in length. While you can purchase 2m, 3m, or 4m kits, please note that it will not include end caps so in general many purchase a slightly longer or shorter speed ramp which includes the end caps.
