Product Highlights

Safely slow vehicles to 10mph

The modular kits come in black and yellow sections, with reflective chevrons on each central segment to ensure maximum visibility in low-light conditions.

Speed ramp kits from 1.5 m upwards include end caps, providing a smooth, safe transition at the ramp edges. This design helps prevent vehicle damage while minimising trip hazards for pedestrians and cyclists.

Designed for easy installation by handymen or builders, these speed ramps are supplied in modular kits. Each central section measures 500mm, and each end cap measures 250mm.

All kits are supplied with pre-drilled fixing points and fixings suitable for tarmac and concrete (M10 fixings, 120mm length), along with an SDS Max drill bit for straightforward installation.

Product Questions
What fixings do The Ramp People provide with the speed bump kits?
All of our speed bumps are provided with fixings for tarmac and concrete and a SDS Drill Bit drill bit. The fixing is an M10 x 120mm. The SDS drill bit has a diameter of 14mm and 150mm drill length, total length 276mm.
Can The Ramp People's speed bumps be installed on block paving?
The fixings provided are designed for tarmac and concrete only. We recommend installing speed bumps on these surfaces, rather than block paving, to ensure the speed ramps remain securely in place.
Is permission required prior to installing speed bumps?
It is important to gain permission from the landowner prior to installing speed bumps. Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 also requires you to notify emergency services and those who may be affected by the road ramp.
Does The Ramp People sell speed bump parts, such as end caps or fixings, separately?
Yes, end caps, middle sections and fixings can be purchased separately. Please contact our team with your specific requirements and we will provide a quote based on your needs.
Do The Ramp People install speed bumps?
As an online business we only supply speed bumps, we do not offer installation services. The speed bumps include all necessary fixings so a general handyman or builder should be able to install them for you.
