Product Questions
I am looking to purchase a pair of loading ramps, how do I select an alternative connection option?
As standard the ramps come with a rest on connection with a pre-drilled hole. If you require an alternative connection option, such as a hook connection, please let our team know following your purchase.
Is the price stated on the product page for a single ramp or pair of ramps?
The price stated is for a pair of ramps. If you only require one ramp please contact our team so they can provide a quote based on this.
How do The Ramp People's Aluminium Loading Ramps stay securely in place during loading?
The ramps have a curved rest-on connection with a pre-drilled hole for securing them to the vehicle. The angled foot ensures the ramp stays on the ground, while the ramp’s weight and gradient help keep it firmly in place. Alternative connection options are available.
Are The Ramp People's Aluminium Loading Ramps suitable for low-clearance vehicles like cars, forklifts or scissor lifts?
These ramps are designed for use at a 30% gradient, which is generally too steep for cars with low clearance, forklifts and scissor lifts. For low clearance cars, we suggest our car ramps, for loading forklifts view our container ramps or contact us for custom solutions.
I am interest in the loading ramps. Previously, I have used steel ramps, will the aluminium ramps be strong enough?
Yes, all of our aluminium loading ramps are TUV certified ensuring they safely support the stated maximum capacity. Aluminium ramps are often preferable as they are durable and lighter than steel.
