The narrow steel mobile steps with a platform and handrails are designed for to allow workers to safely pick goods in warehouses with narrow aisles. Manufactured from steel in the UK, the 500mm wide narrow ladders offer a 150kg safe working load. The ladder features a spacious platform with guardrails, double handrails, retractable spring-loaded castors and slide-out stabilisers for optimum safety whilst undertaking work at elevated heights. Built in line with BS EN131-7 Ladders to meet UK health and safety requirements in the workplace.

The working height is calculated based on 1.75m (5'8") plus platform height. 

The ladder is set at an angle of circa 75 degrees.

Do warehouse workers need training to use ladders?
Yes, users should be trained and competent prior to using a ladder.
I am interested in the Narrow Ladder. Do the stabilisers need to be used at all times?
In accordance with BS EN 131-7, the stabilisers must be in the fully extended position prior to ascending the steps.
Can The Ramp People's Narrow Ladder be used on uneven ground?
No, ladders should not be used on uneven ground as it can be dangerous for the user. Moving the ladder on rough ground may also damage the wheels on the ladder.
Can the Narrow Ladder be used within the workplace?
Yes, the Narrow Ladder is designed for professional use. It is Kitemarked to BS EN 131-7, the standard for mobile ladders with a platform. The HSE and the Ladder Association recommend using ladders that comply with BS EN 131-7 in the workplace to ensure safety and reliability.
