The 4.5m metal modular ramp is designed to allow mobility aids, inclusive of wheelchairs, mobility scooters and rollators, to safely overcome steps and doorways. Designed for heights up to 375mm, this durable access solution is perfect for ensuring homes, workplaces and temporary buildings remain accesible to all. Produced from steel, the ramp offers a self-draining expanded mesh surface to ensure it is safe to use in all weathers. The turning platform allows users to safely take a left or right turn out of the property whilst the handrails provide additional support when required.

These systems are designed to be both portable and temporary; therefore they do not need to comply with building regulations (Part M or Part K) - if you require your system to be compliant, please get in contact as this something we can provide but the specification would need to be altered.

Recommended to be used at a 1:12 gradient; however they can be built to a maximum of a 1:10 gradient when required.

  • Ramp Module incl. Double Height Handrails: 4500mm long x 1080mm wide (usable width 920mm)
  • Platform incl. 2x Double Height Handrails: 1080mm wide x 1080mm long
  • Connection to step/threshold: 500mm deep x 960mm long; can be ordered cut to size if required. The necessary door measurements can be found here

Assembly is required. 

We have a dedicated modular team available to provide advice around modular wheelchair ramps. Examples of customisations include: adding steps to the side of the ramp, an additional platform, U-shaped handrails at the end of the ramp, contrast markers for those with impaired vision, longer ramp lengths, alternative ground connections and more.
