Delivery Information

We are a UK Limited Company that dispatches orders from our UK warehouse and from production facilities in Europe. We used to be VAT registered in Ireland and have a presence in Ireland but have had to centralise operations in the UK.

General delivery information: 

Our cut off times for same-day dispatch* is from Monday-Friday 2pm. 

Generally, we offer 5-10 business day delivery delivery for 'in-stock' items throughout Ireland. Please note delivery timelines cannot be guaranteed as we rely on third-party couriers. All products are shipped under DAP Incoterms. This means we do not charge VAT but Irish import VAT of 23% (on all products) and Import duty and any customs charges (on some products ) and customs charges will be due. These fees will need to be paid to the courier before or after you receive the goods. Where payment is required prior to delivery, the sooner any customs/VAT charges are paid to the courier/customs the quicker you will receive your goods. Please look out for emails or calls from the courier regarding these fees otherwise your goods may be returned to us.

Please do check the availability of the item on our website, for pre-orders, non-stock items or built-to-order items we cannot give an exact delivery time - with all deliveries we will keep you updated wherever possible and get these items to you as quickly as possible. 

Should you need to return any item this must be sent back to our UK warehouse: The Ramp People, Unit 5 Quantum Business Park, Beacon Hill Road, Church Crookham, Fleet GU52 8EA. Our returns details can be viewed here. 

We want you to receive your goods on a timely basis and in pristine condition. Please help us accomplish this by checking the delivery address carefully as noted on the invoice and notifying us immediately if there is an error. Upon delivery, please do not sign for the goods unless you are happy with the condition of the product.

If you are ordering on behalf of a company, please provide your VAT IE and EORI number to us as soon as possible to prevent delays in dispatching your order, the couriers require us to provide this prior to the dispatch of goods. If items are being sent on a pallet, we will also require you to complete a POA prior to dispatch. 

If you have purchased a loading ramp, prior to use please make sure to check the maximum load height as stated on the invoice, read the safety instructions on the side of the ramp closely, and follow the instructions supplied with the product.  Failure to comply with product instructions will invalidate your warranty and could cause an accident, injury or death so please take this seriously.

Our shipping terms for all customers are INCO Terms DAP unless explicitly specified.

Our delivery charges are calculated for you upon checkout; however, you can also see these listed below:

• Under 25kg - €30
• 25.1kg – 100kg - €50
• Over 100kg - €115

*Please note, if your ordering on behalf of a company dispatch may be delayed if we do not receive a valid VAT IE & EORI number prior to 2pm. For orders sent on a pallet dispatch may occuring the following day as additional paperwork is required such as the signed POA.
